class "b" uniform

The Class "B" uniform is worn to meetings on Wednesday nights and on certain occasions, like traveling to summer camp. The uniform consists of:


  • Blue Troop Shirt - Earned when a Scout reaches the rank of "Tenderfoot."
  • Green Scout Pants/Shorts - Pants/shorts must be the official olive Scout pants, the Centennial Switchback pants, or the Centennial Canvas Convertible pants. Other pants/shorts may be worn to meetings.
  • Official Scout Belt - Olive web belt with BSA insignia on brass buckle, or Centennial Boy Scout Web Belt (olive web belt with BSA insignia on carbon colored buckle). Not required to be worn at meetings.
  • Black Troop Hat - Earned when a Scout reaches the rank of "Scout." No other hat may be worn while in uniform.
Class B Uniform

The Class "A" Uniform is worn to meetings on the third Wednesday of every month and on special occasions, like Courts-of-Honor, parades, and Scout Sunday. The uniform consists of:


  • Official Khaki Boy Scout Uniform Shirt - The uniform shirt can be the traditional shirt, the Centennial Cotton Rich Poplin shirt, or the Centennial Supplex Nylon shirt. The shirt may be either short-sleeved or long-sleeved and the collar must always be unbuttoned.
  • Green Scout Pants/Shorts - Pants/shorts must be the official olive Scout pants, the Centennial Switchback pants, or the Centennial Canvas Convertible pants. Must always be worn when in Class "A" Uniform.
  • Official Scout Belt - Olive web belt with BSA insignia on brass buckle, or Centennial Boy Scout Web Belt (olive web belt with BSA insignia on carbon colored buckle). Must always be worn when in Class "A" Uniform.
  • Merit Badge Sash- Official olive merit badge sash or Centennial merit badge sash with merit badges sewn on the front. Wearing one is optional.
  • Black Troop Hat - Earned when a Scout reaches the rank of "Scout." No other hat may be worn while in uniform.
  • Proper Patches and Insignia - All Scouts must wear either red shoulder loops or Centennial shoulder loops. Placement and lists of all other insignia are listed below.
